    Confirmation Class

    March 8, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am

    Prepare students for Confirmation through study of the Bible, Jesus, Church history, and United Methodism. Invite students to participate in Confirmation ceremony, wherein they make a public proclamation of their faith and assume membership at Messiah UMC.
    Mentors join us at 10 am. For more information, contact Sami Tierney, Director of Youth and Family Ministry at stierney@messiahchurch.org.

    Ash Wednesday Worship

    We have begun the 40 day season called Lent.     Walk the Lenten Path
    Through Lent

    Since the early Christians observed the days of our Lord’s passion and resurrection, it became custom for a 40 day season of spiritual preparation before Easter, called Lent. Join Messiah Church in walking the Lenten Path. Each day’s simple activity is based around the traditional pillars of Lent: prayer, fasting, and service/giving. Some days focus on a word, where you can consider how that word is part of your life. We also provide a verse each week upon which to meditate. Set aside 15-20 minutes each day for these activities, as we prepare for Easter. Click here to download & print your own Lenten Path 40-day calendar.
