Join us for a FREE virtual screening of the film, More than Sad: Teen Depression by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The film covers mental health conditions, depression, warning signs of suicide, demystifies treatment, and encourages those who are struggling to seek help. We welcome presenter Cassandra Linkenmeyer, MN Area Director for AFSP. This event will take place via Zoom. This virtual event is FREE and open to the public, but requires registration. Click here to register today.
We may not be together on Sundays, but Messiah has not forgotten you! Rain or shine, you are invited to drive through the parking lot of Messiah Church and receive a pre-packaged Communion kit (juice & a wafer), to save in preparation for Virtual Communion on Sunday, June 7. We’ll also have a special treat for the kids! During our drive thru, we will be collecting food for our Bloom Food Shelf. (Any donation appreciated, although not required.) No need to get out of your car! All servants will be wearing a face mask, gloves and observing physical distancing. Please bring donations in paper bags or boxes so that our servants can safely collect them.
