Jesus transformed water into wine, told parables about planting vineyards, and taught that he was the vine and his followers are the branches intended to bear fruit. At the Last Supper, Jesus used wine as a sign of his own blood.
Using the image from John 15, through November we will explore the metaphor of the vine and branches to discover the secret to living a fruitful, joyous, and abundant life. We get one life, and this is the life worth living!
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will produce much fruit.
— John 15:5
