Early Response Basic Training

Interested in volunteering for disaster relief through UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief)? Become an Early Response Team (ERT) member! This training gives you the credentials and skills to enter areas affected by floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other disasters. ERTs remove debris, clean out flood-damaged homes, and help prevent further property damage while providing a caring Christian presence. An ERT will be going to Fort Myers, FL in November – you must have completed this training and have a successful background check on file with UMCOR in order to volunteer. The next Early Response Basic Training is Saturday, November 12, 8:30 am-4:30 pm at Evangel United Methodist Church (2645 North Broadway Ave., Rochester).
