The following highlights Messiah Church’s policy on using digital media/photos/videos for public display.

Photo Use Policy

Including photos of attendees to Messiah Church on our website and in publication is a privilege for us, and we intend to respect and honor it. Therefore:

If copyright for a photo is held by someone other than Messiah Church, we will receive permission to post it and gladly provide credit if desired by the photographer and will not knowingly use a copyrighted photo.

Photos are almost always of people in public spaces, and/or at public events.

We will not knowingly post anything that would be embarrassing, objectionable, or hurtful to anyone in the photo.

We do not identify children or youth by name in the photos we post online or other use and we will gladly remove any photo upon request. If you see a photo that includes you or your child and would like it removed from the web site or other publications, please email notify Tracy Ickes, Director of Communications, at tickes@messiahchurch.org with the details.

Photos may be used by Messiah’s website, social media, and/or promotional materials produced by Messiah Church.

We ask for your respect in return. Unless otherwise indicated, photographs throughout this website are the property of and are copyrighted by Messiah Church and may not be used for any purpose (including but not limited to: downloading, printing, distributing, linking) without permission from Messiah Church. Photos posted on the Messiah Church social media pages will not be linked to personal accounts by Messiah Church. If others tag, link, or share posts from Messiah Church to their personal pages, that is beyond the scope of Messiah Church’s photo policy.

Please email info@messiahchurch.org if you have any questions or concerns about our Photo Use Policy.

Thank you,
Messiah Church Staff
