Christmas at Messiah

Celebrate Christmas at Messiah Church!

Experience the joy and meaningfulness of Christmas: Our Fa La La Festival kicks off the season with a delightful family event filled with fun activities, festive crafts, and a delicious community dinner. Our Christmas Eve services celebrate the true meaning of the season - we'll gather for a message of hope, candlelight, and the beautiful singing of Silent Night, filling your heart with peace and joy. Our celebration continues to the end of the month when we worship together at one service with a Christmas carol sing. Everyone is welcome!

Fa La La Family Fun Festival

Sunday, December 8
3-6 pm • FREE Community Event

Let’s ring in the Christmas season together on Sunday, December 8 at Messiah’s Fa La La Family Fun Festival! From 3-6 pm, you, your family, and the entire community are invited to experience the excitement of the season.

Join us for holiday activities from 3-5 pm: Make holiday crafts, play kids' games, visit the hot cocoa bar with all the fixin's, and enjoy live Christmas music.

Then stay for a soup supper from 4:30-6 pm: Enjoy a hot bowl of soup, fresh bread, Christmas cookies, and carol singing.

There's something fun for everyone at this FREE community holiday event!

Through December, we are collecting new socks for Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP). Especially needed are men's and women's cotton socks in black or white. IOCP (located in Plymouth) is working to strengthen our local community by meeting the daily basic needs of our neighbors as well as equipping individuals and families for longterm stability. Any donation is appreciated (although not required) at our Fa La La Festival. For more information on IOCP, visit iocp.org.

Christmas Offering

Each year, Messiah Church selects two organizations to receive our special Christmas Offering. This year’s Christmas Offering is a gift to IOCP (Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners) and UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief):

Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) is a human service nonprofit that strengthens our Plymouth community by meeting basic needs and equipping families and individuals for ongoing stability. IOCP delivers integrated services that address the basic needs for food, shelter, and clothing, while also connecting people to strengthening services such as affordable housing, quality childcare, and employment. For more information on IOPC, visit iocp.org.
UMCOR, the humanitarian relief and development agency of The United Methodist Church, helps Methodists and churches engage in global ministry to those in need. They assist victims of natural and human-caused disasters in the US and internationally as a source of help and hope. They provide relief, response, and even long-term recovery grants when communities are overwhelmed and unable to recover on their own. UMCOR’s Promise: 100% of ALL donations go directly to disaster relief efforts. For more information on UMCOR, visit umcmission.org.
Give throughout the month of December, online (below) by selecting “Christmas Offering,” or by mailing a check (indicate “Christmas Offering” in the memo) to: Messiah Church, 17805 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN 55447.
Gifts are distributed evenly, unless designated otherwise.
