    Mission Trip Informational Meeting

    February 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    An informational meeting about a mission trip to the Midwest Distribution Center (MDC) in southern Illinois. MDC is one of 10 cooperating depots in the UMCOR Supply Network. Mission trip dates are likely to be the last week of September or the first week of October 2020. There are a number of projects available: pack kits, sort items, sew school bags/hospital gowns/quilts, box goods, build crates and desks, repair bicycles and sewing machines, help unload items, fill shipping containers, and many other tasks.     Ash Wednesday Worship
    Wednesday, February 26 @ 6:30 pm

    Join us for an experiential, intergenerational worship experience, as we begin the six weeks of Lent. This service will offer thoughtful interactive elements (from the comfort of your seat), contemplative music from all of Messiah’s ensembles (including Messiah’s Kids), and the imposition of ashes. As we begin a study of the Beatitudes through Lent, we gather in this service to look at what it means to be blessed, and how we can posture our lives as holy, beloved children of God.

    Yogadevotion
    Saturdays, February 29-April 4 @ 9-10 am

    Join us on Saturdays for Yogadevotion – faith integrated yoga. This 6-session class opens with scripture that speaks to the practice of faith. The body of the class is a combination of standing, balance and floor poses, before closing with restorative yoga, allowing for a time of reflection. $54/person.
