All Saints Sunday
Sunday, November 3 @ 8:45 & 10:30 am

This Sunday is All Saints Sunday at Messiah, a day when we remember loved ones who have gone before us. At both services we will mention by name the members of our Messiah family who entered the church triumphant in the past twelve months. You are invited to light a candle at the start of worship, either in the sanctuary or from wherever you are worshiping, in remembrance of those you have lost.

"We the People" Potluck
Monday, November 4 @ 6-8 pm

On Election Eve, let’s come together with a “We The People" Potluck. Wear purple and bring a dish to share, we'll hand out BALLOTS to VOTE for your favorite dish, there'll be election day trivia and door prizes, and we promise no talk of politics! Let's celebrate the freedom we enjoy and ELECT to have a great time together! Click here for all the details.

Demonstrating Compassion in Mental Illness: Community Dinner & Conversation
Wednesday, November 13 @ 6:15-7:45 pm

How can we be a community that embraces those who struggle in life? Join us for dinner and a conversation with Margaret Kelly, MDiv, MSW, and former Director of the Dignity Center at Hennepin United Methodist Church. Margaret will help us understand how God calls us to treat those with mental health issues with respect and dignity. This event is FREE and open to the community.
