The “Sandwich Generation” Lunch & Learn

The “Sandwich Generation” are adults who are simultaneously raising children AND supporting their aging parents. On Saturday, April 20 from 11 am-1 pm, join us in Heritage Hall for a lunch & learn from a panel of professions who serve our senior community. They will share advice and tips to help guide families through transitions. Topics to be covered include:
- Strategies for “aging in place” in your own home
- Preparing important legal documents
- Downsizing your home and/or possessions
- Preparing to sell your home
- Helpful community resources for seniors
If you are part of the “Sandwich Generation,” this is for you! If you are a senior considering downsizing, aging in place, or other lifestage changes, this is for you! Please feel free to invite others who would benefit from attending. A free Subway sandwich lunch will be served. RSVP to Heather Felt at hfelt@messiahchurch.org by Thursday, April 18.

Join us between worship services for Sunday Funday & our Servant Sunday Brunch! Our Creation Care ministry team has Earth Day craft projects for the kids in the atrium and everyone is invited to the Bagels, Bacon & Fruit Brunch in Heritage Hall to celebrate our Messiah servants. Come early (if you plan to attend 10:30 worship), or stay later (if you plan to attend 8:30 worship). Everyone is invited!
Mother's Day Worship
