Messiah Church is excited to welcome back Church on the Go – a worship experience created intentionally for our online community!
Church on the Go has returned for the Lenten Season with weekly worship services to take with you “on the go.” These abbreviated services include a message from Pastor Tami or Pastor Bethany and music from The Way worship team – all in 30 minutes or less. Journey through the Bible stories in Luke as we unpack the tales of Jesus and the “outsiders, outcasts, and outlaws” on both YouTube and Facebook:
“On the Go” Series: Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts, and Outlaws
As we explore Jesus’ life through Luke’s stories, we’ll meet the ordinary, even unexpected, people who Jesus chose to be his friends and do his work – people who aren’t perfect, may be struggling, and don’t yet have their acts together – people just like us. Let’s meet Jesus, who loves us just as we are.

FAQs
How is Church on the Go different from Live Stream or On Demand Worship?
Live stream and on demand worship are live recordings of worship happening in the sanctuary. These options will continue to be available, both live (at www.MessiahChurch.org/live) and on demand (at www.MessiahChurch.org/live/ondemand), for our 8:30 am Traditions and 10:30 am Journey worship services. Church on the Go, on the other hand, has been designed for a “digital first” audience. This means that the worship length is shorter, around half an hour, and both visuals and sound have been chosen intentionally to create the best online worship experience.
How can I worship with Church on the Go?
You will find Church on the Go every Sunday in Lent (February 26-April 2) on both our YouTube channel (at youtube.com/@MessiahChurchMN) and Facebook page (at www.facebook.com/MessiahChurchMN). Please subscribe and like our pages for up-to-date notifications, then share these links with your friends, and invite them to worship with us! You can also access Church on the Go through Messiah’s website, right here on this page (at www.MessiahChurch.org/onthego).
What is “Lent”?
Lent is a season of 40 days, not counting Sundays, which begins on Ash Wednesday (February 22) and ends on Holy Saturday (April 8). It is a time of repentance, self-examination, reflection, fasting, and preparation for the coming of Easter. The 40 days represents the time Jesus spent in the wilderness, enduring the temptation of Satan and preparing to begin his ministry.
